Our goal is to provide cultural direction to the Hindu community in an attempt to expand and further develop Sanatan Dharma. The organization aims to impart strong values of Sanatan Dharma to enrich the lives of our community and thus provide for a prosperous life for future generations. |

Hindu Heritage Youth Camp Draws 153 Campers...Deemed a Great Success |
 As the campers file out the temple waving goodbye to all their newfound friendships that have risen during the week, the FHO closes yet another wonderful chapter in the lives of over 150 students. Sunday August 3rd, 2008 concluded a most vibrant cultural and spiritual journey as the campers focused their minds and attention on the divine Lord Krishna. Live Ramayan Broadcast |
 For the first time in the history of the Florida Hindu Organization, an upcoming Ramayan Satsang in the Shiva Mandir, with Pundit Bimal Maharaj, will be broadcasted live throughout the entire world. A popular radio station in Trinidad, Akash Vani 106.5 FM, has agreed to broadcast this one night Ramayan with Pt. Bimal. The date and time that this will take place will be posted soon. Instructions on how to access Akash Vani 106.5 FM via your internet connection will soon be posted as well. |

Baal Vikas Class: Begins Friday August 22nd |
 The fall semester Baal Vikas Class begins Friday August 22nd, promptly at 7 pm at the Shiva Mandir. All students are strongly encouraged to attend weekly. Hindi lessons, Ramayan and Gita studies, Bhajans, and Mantra understanding and recital will be instructed every Friday night. The class is from 7pm until 9pm.

 Time: 7pm until midnight Location: Shiva Mandir Devotees are encouraged to observe fast throughout the day and offer Prasad and flowers, while gently rocking Lord Krishna's palna at midnight in the Temple. |
